UMBC International Education Week Expo (U.S.A)
Streetlights Uganda, represented by our team-leader, was honored to exhibit in the U.S.A at University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC)'s International Education Week 2025, showcasing our work and mission to a global audience.
The event facilitated cross-cultural dialogue on creative education, youth empowerment, and the transformative power of art. Our participation amplified the voices of the young people we serve and strengthened our presence in international education and arts-for-social-impact spaces.

Droopcanvas Open Studio Exhibition
In August 2025, Streetlights Uganda participated in the first wave of the Open Studio Sessions, where eight of our young artists exhibited their work alongside established creatives such as Odur.
This platform provided our beneficiaries with valuable exposure, professional networks, and confidence-building opportunities, positioning them as emerging talents within the creative industry.
The experience reinforced art as a pathway for healing, self-expression, and sustainable livelihoods for vulnerable young people.
