About Unseen Me
Since 2017, the exhibition has provided a platform for young people to showcase their artistic abilities, share their stories, and connect with opportunities that support their growth and future aspirations.
Through visual art, fashion, music, performance, and storytelling, Unseen Me demonstrates how creativity can foster belonging, inspire change, and build meaningful connections between communities.
More than an exhibition, Unseen Me is a movement that amplifies the voices of young people and creates space for them to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

The Unseen Me Exhibition celebrates the strengths, talents, and potential of street-connected children and youth, creating opportunities for them to be recognized for who they are and who they are becoming.
By providing a platform for artistic expression and meaningful dialogue, the exhibition invites communities to see young people through the lens of possibility, contribution, and potential. It also brings together artists, partners, supporters, and community members who are committed to expanding opportunities for children and youth to thrive.

Since its launch, the Unseen Me Exhibition has grown into a powerful platform for empowerment, visibility, and collaboration.

The 2024 Edition: “I Am More”
A celebration of identity, potential, and possibility.
Bringing together more than 300 guests and participants, the exhibition featured art showcases, fashion presentations, performances, workshops, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and an art auction fundraiser in support of Streetlights Uganda's programs.
Jupiterfab Collaboration
A special highlight was the collaboration with Italian mural artist Jupiterfab, whose long-awaited partnership with Streetlights Uganda finally came to life after being postponed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
During his month-long residency in Kampala, Jupiterfab facilitated workshops for beneficiaries, mentored emerging artists, and worked alongside young people to create a monumental mural reflecting the dreams, talents, resilience, and aspirations of street-connected children and youth.
