Paint and Wear - Launch
To foster community engagement in unearthing children's potential, we launched a vibrant and engaging event called "Paint and Wear", hosted in collaboration with Kidspreneur Uganda, Mrs. Dubar and Faith Fetaru.
The event attracted participants from different areas, offering a fun and creative experience where people painted designs on their t-shirts and took them home. The highlight of the event was the involvement of our Street Stars, who took on the role of teachers for the day, guiding participants through the painting process. Their leadership and artistic skills shone, making the event a great success.
We were also joined by one of Uganda's top gospel artist Racheal.K, Minister Amanda Diana and Old Mutual representatives among other participants.

Developing Practical Skills
Two boys participated in a Kidspreneur chocolate-making workshop designed to introduce them to practical entrepreneurial and vocational skills.
Under the supervision of a Streetlights Uganda facilitator, the children gained hands-on experience in the full chocolate-making process, from selecting raw ingredients to packaging the final product. The workshop expanded their exposure to alternative career pathways while reinforcing confidence, creativity, and teamwork.
It also strengthened the partnership between Streetlights Uganda and Kidspreneur, creating opportunities for future collaboration in skills development and entrepreneurship training.
